What caused BTC's rise to 4093? I don't really see why it even jumped that fast to about ~3700.
When do you think it's a good time to sell to wait for the next correction?
BTC should be much higher by now but mtgox and silkroad held it back.
BTC price has been suppressed literally for years due to scaling debate. The fork resolved that debate for now, so the price is moving up and should continue to do so.
Never sell BTC, or you will lose.
Brainwashing. Simply put, brainwashing.
It is done. It's over. It goes over. It is all over.
The prophecy is being fulfilled.

Two things:
- alt market selloff into more stable currencies as the end of the year approaches (as people need more access to their money)
- BTC fork is basically over, there was a lot of uncertainty that has been lifted now that Bitcoin Cash is officially no longer a major threat.

As for selling, I'd anticipate a test of the 3500 support level sometime this month.
EOY 4800 avg.

I have 4k that I want to put in BTC right now. Should I wait for a dip or buy and hold for the long term? I've been waiting for a dip since 2800$...

Hype, pure and simple.
its simple, new money buys bitcoin to buy OMG and NEO in the last few days. as soon as the bulls stop we will see a massive sell-off and another rise of BTC dominance (im hoping to hit 65% before segwit)

It will not correct until it gets to $10k, then it might go to $8k or so. It already went down to $1800 in july - that was the correction..

I don't quite think it'll get to 10k.
We might hit 6500 as Thanksgiving approaches, but I'd expect to be closer to 4800 than 6000 at EOY.

There is a lot of attention on Bitcoin right now. If you look at 24h volume, it is almost double what it normally is. This indicates a lot of buying and selling activity. Usually that would result in an upward trend over the course of the next day or so. Maybe 1% more.
If you are going to HODL, buy now. If you're going to sell in 2 days, don't.

Bitcoin's rise has certainly been something to behold.
I've been in since pretty early, buying and selling since a coin was $200.
Made decent amount of money (~20k) over the ride, it's been fun.
