I need some advice.
- I'm moving to a new city. I do not have a job secured but I have had interviews for full time positions and am confident I could get an IT job
- I despise work. I despise the amount of time it takes out of my life
- I have about £26,000. £10k is in an index fund ETF, paying a little dividend quaterly, £10k is in Crypto, which is now worth £13k and I have about £2k cash
- My rent is £312 a month excluding bills
Is it possible / a good idea to get a crappy part time job rather than a full time position? I hate IT and I don't want to spend all my waking hours around a job that I hate, but I also do want to become rich.

you're already in a better position than 80% of the people on this board

I understand I'm in a pretty good position, I'm not rich but I do have some money behind me. I just really fucking hate working and I'm desperate to ease my life, but I'm also worried I'm completely screwing over my career and will be left with nothing if I try and make it easy
You will be left with nothing, with IT it's very important to stay in a career and keep learning new tech. Yes it's a shit career but it pays - I make £500 a day doing it so no complaints.
