>held LTC from 50+
>"hodl" so I don't get burned
>could offset index fund gains with LTC losses in worst case scenario
>thinking about liquidating index/LTC to buy a house soon
>nork bullshit happens
>index funds down 1.5K profit
>my LTC loses are now more than my index fund gains
>all throughout I kept telling myself not to act, whether it was prefork 0.02 BTC ratio or when BTC was moving upwards and LTC wasn't
I'm starting to think Crypto isn't for me.
I know LTC is going nowhere, there aren't even shills for it anymore, not even the creator.
Might start splitting my "money to save" into 90% index, 10% BTC each week and just hodling forever.
Probably the safest bet.
I've been telling you guys to dump the whole week. You didn't listen and kept shilling as if shilling here could change the outcome.
>hur dur it's getting ready to moon

At this point, I might as well just hold on as long as it doesn't dip below 40.
BTC going to 5K would be a 31% gain, whereas LTC would have to go to 61. I don't think it'll reach there, but you never know. A whole lot less volume needed to do so. Who knows, maybe a whale will push it up through the sellers and get some FOMO.
I got until the end of the tax year to claim my short term loses/gains to do offsets

If you're worried about usd value then don't, it probably won't dump much for now. But btc value will keep dumping, if btc keeps mooning until segwit activation it's only a matter of time before bagholders crack and even fiat value plummets.

Is Segwit activation creating another coin?
I've heard that Segwit2 might make a new fork
Also, is Segwit going to make BTC faster/cheaper? What's the reason for a pump related to it?
Segwit is gonna nearly double capacity and allow the implementation of new technologies like the lightning network and smart contracts sidechains. This will happen through a soft fork so no new coins will be created.
