Groupon tanked hard and has been considered long dead. I noticed in their 2Q results their downsize and refocus is growing margins. Is there any chance they resurface as a legit force . years into the future?

Why even waste your time and money on stocks?

They're actually just a local HQ'd company and I'm interested. I'm not planning on buying. I've seen mixed reports of people bullish/bearish on them now. Curious what others think. The original idea is BS, but they seem to *just maybe* have somewhat of a future.
When's the ICO?

here
No way.
They had no competitive advantage. Zero barriers to entry. Millions of copycats mean profits go to zero.

this. Don't bother. Takes me 20 seconds to set up a clone and drive traffic to it, that means theres too much competition.

If they come out with some unique and difficult to copy product, maybe.
Otherwise, it'll just come down to how much they advertise.
They can't see direct ROI on ads because of the nature of their biz. They need to reestablish their brand as the dominant discount website. If they were more interested in the longevity of their business then their own pocket books, they wouldn't have faultered so hard.
