Can someone redpill me on Dash? I bought 200ish back when they were $10 and I can't for the life of me understand why, despite reaching $200 and making gains almost comparable with ETH, noone EVER talks about it and noone EVER releases news about it. It seems like some kind of crypto submarine just cruising beneath the surface.
I made the purchase because I was bullish on privacy technology, now I'm holding them despite the fact that a brief google search is turning up scam warnings. I think I'm sentimentally attached to them because it was such a good buy. I just wish I had got 1000 so I could run a masternode, which I wasn't aware existed at the time.
What are /biz/ opinions on Dash? Should I keep holding or take the profit and move to another coin? Anyone got any good intel?
Yeah always though about this, i mean it's top10 coin and none ever talks about it?

Can't moon since market cap is already so high.
Also no innovation, it's just a currency which is pretty boring.
Everyone silently knows it is destined to be the world currency.

It's gains have been pretty damn impressive though, even if they haven't been parabolic at any stage. Did it not successfully innovate on privacy tech? I've read a bit that says it's PrivateSend is rubbish and nothing compared to Monero, but Monero isn't nearly as valuable...

Well Monero's market cap is still #12, but maybe it's a usability thing? From what I've read Monero is a pain to use.

It's one of the most sound investments you can make.
However it's not going to make massive gains any time soon compared to other crypto, everyone here is after the +100% in a week/month coin, but it's a great long term coin. Im fucking jealous of your 200DASH, I only have 1 but even that's just had consistent growth.
The other thing is unlike most coins discussed in not in such a developmental stage so there's not as much hype and speculation flying around, DASH will grow so long as it become adapted more and more and offers a sleek system
Can anyone give more info on this"scam"? I see it get thrown around on /biz/ all the time but nobody elaborates

If you google "dash scam" you'll see all sorts of stuff from pre/insta mining, masternodes being essentially monopolized by developers, dodgy rebranding, and more. Not sure how credible any of it is and I've held the exposure for so long it hardly seems to matter at this point. Only thing that will move me is a better opportunity.
