Hello everyone! I was wondering your opinions and speculations on the solar energy industry. I am working towards getting my first career since graduating college and I am considering taking a position selling solar panels or more accurately closing deals on solar energy projects primarily for homeowners. The market will be in Colorado. Do you expect the widespread adoption of solar pv systems? If you are a property owner, does investing in a solar PV system seem appealing to you? Do you acknowledge the possibility of eliminating or greatly reducing your energy bill, with the potential to generate excess energy to deposit back to the grid in exchange for credits from the energy company? Are you aware of financing options in which you pay off the loan for this technology by redirecting the money you save from your utility cost reduction? Are you aware that investing in this technolgy adds resale value to your property? Are you interested in helping the environment and reducing your carbon footprint? Do you even give a shit? Looking forward to your inquiries. NEETS- ask your mommies and daddy's these questions.
Also hodling DGB & SIA. I know that's all most of you give a shit about.

Looking forward to your inquiries.

I think it will be huge in China. Too many Americans make it an ideological issue though, because the strength of the dollar is somewhat tied to oil. The financial and scientific reality though, is that solar is already cheaper and more efficient than coal.

I really can't imagine a more promising emerging technology today. No offence to crypto.

Bumping... can u pussies talk about something other than crypto for once?

Promising response there, anon. Why do u think it will be big in China especially? Anywhere the sun shines can benefit.

Because it's cheaper than coal, China's predominant source of electrical power. And pollution is a catastrophic problem, which is a virtual non-issue with solar. Moreover, with the authoritarian government, all that really needs to happen is for Xi Jinping to give the go ahead. It can (and I think, will) take off like a rocket in China.

It might not happen in America. Fracking has created an enormous supply of cheap American oil, with none of the problems of trade deals, embargo, etc. But, Colorado is about as green as you get, second to maybe Oregon? Hell if I know how well it will go, state by state. Like I said, the media makes solar into a political party issue, which is as retarded as declaring BitCoin somehow socialist. If you want to be successful, I think you have to break away from the partisanship around green tech.

>cheaper than coal

do you have a source for that?

I acknowledge the possibility, but the whole system seems unnecessarily complicated and too much work.
It's a lot easier to just dump the generated electricity into shitcoin mining.

This anon is thinking on the right level.

Depends on the country, I should have noted. Manufacturing costs have been dropping, and ultra low tariffs and contract competition is pushing costs lower in India and others.
