I work at a place that throws away a ton of decent oak boards every day with minor defects. I'm allowed to take it home. What is some simple shit I can do with it to make money? I don't have woodworking tools at home but I'd be willing to pick up a few.

My dad literally has this same situation, we burn it in the fireplace to save on house heating costs in the winter. Sure you could build shit with it but that takes way more time and we get way more floorboards than we would know what to do with. Oak floorboards produce very little ash or smoke, they are pretty much ideal to burn, especially if indoor fires trigger allergies for some people.
