Less than a year. More than a month. Xby's salvation is the massive slack community it has accumulated. Once the the nodes come online in miannet we will see it begin to pick up momentum. They're throwing around ridiculous numbers like 6000 sats. Not gonna happen. But a 5x to 2000 sats is possible. Right now there's no reason to believe that the xby blockchain has any improvement at all against other blockchains. It's not actually profitable for blackhats to even make an attempt against it yet. (Whereas they are currently going batshit trying to take MUE and BCC down)
