In 1,5months about 11M coins have been mined. That has had huge downward pressure on price.
The very active mining means that there has been about 2btc dump every day + 1btc dump after halving from miners. Day after day after day. Currently, every day 216K coins are mined. Which is a lot, for a max 18M coin. And now it is already at 85% of Max supply. Next block halving would be in 3 days anyway.

However. The current decision is made to move to POS. Probably in couple days. But POS in a way to keep coin alive. Not to earn loads from staking. But to only slowly rise to the 18M coins. Maybe over 2 years.

So, the absurd increase in supply will almost overnight switch to a supply increase of almost none!!! This will happen in 4days-2weeks. New dev has been hired to fix this.
