Their margin UI is just too good and they require 0 personal information or verification. That is a killer feature on Bitfinex.

Bitfinex did not "fail" the BCC "audit"; they distributed 100% of BCC to wallet holders.

To correct your facts, they had people margin-long, that they gave BCC to, without "charging" margin-shorts a negative BCC; hence, all longs (wallet + margin) got the BCC in a ratio. Professional traders analyzed this mechanic heavily.

I preferred Kraken's solution.
They just credited margin positions fully, meaning +BCH for BTC longs and -BCH for BTC shorts.
This was nicely exploitable. I opened a BTC/USD long on Kraken with 5x leverage just before the fork, closed it right after. Lost -$200 in the position, but gained 3.5 BCH
Sadly couldn't open a larger position with my limited verification level
