Even after all this, I'm such a nice guy that I end up paying this person. After I pay him/her, I tell him/her that it's best that we don't work with each other anymore. S/He STILL has attitude. And s/he tells me that they're glad they won't have to work for me anymore.
Am I so old that this is considered normal behavior? I mean, I could have gotten away with not paying them (I did).
That guy will end up posting 20 threads about how hard it is to make a living and how difficult clients/employers are, without realizing that it's his own fault.
And it's not my fault--I've hired several people off of slavelabour before and I've never had anything like this. I once had a little issue with someone, but it was a glitch and it was resolved asap.
I do work for other people myself, and I would NEVER give a client attitude before they paid me. It just seems so unbelievably stupid. I mean, if you're such a shitty person that you have a shitty attitude with your employers/clients, atleast be shitty once they've already paid you.

r/slavelabour has been a boon for me, ON AVERAGE, as a client. It's not as cheap as amazon turk, but getting close there. No bureaucracy like upwork, and you can literally find someone willing to do just about anything for almost just about any rate.
But yeah, there are tons of dreggs there.
Just yesterday there was a Venezuelan youtuber begging for work there.

to be honest, the jobs i outsource are kind of repetitive jobs that would take me forever, but other people are willing to do. So....I can spend like a week doing a task with m current schedule, or I can hire Dakota on reddit to do it in 2 days for $20.
