I downloaded Snapchat to check out how they're advertising.

They aren't making money because ads only appear after stories or news articles, and not everyone uses those, and the ads don't appear that often.

It's like they aren't even trying to exploit their userbase. They have all the ads tucked away in the third and fourth screens, away from the actual main functionality that everyone of their users uses.

I look at the news articles, but they need better selections. A fair amount of the user base follows celebrities, and they mostly check music/movie news
