Look at proof of stake coins. Many have nice payouts. PIVX has 5% return if you host a master node (big investment (20k usd) required though). I think BlackCoin is about 4% return right now. Others have higher returns.

If you had $200,000 in crypto with $160,000 @ 5% and $40,000 for larger risk/gains you would be set. Spread it around in big coins and promising coins (for exponential gains) and a bunch of proof of stake coins (for consistent returns.)
