Okay so I use Electrum and as I was finding some reliable info I came across this. Just thought I'd drop in here:

"The name "Electrum" has been visible on bitcoincash.org and
electrumcash.org, with a modified version of our logo. The use of our
name and logo constitutes a trademark infringement.

We have never enforced our trademark against altcoin versions of
Electrum (such as Litecoin, etc), because we consider that users of
these altcoins are well aware of the distinction between Bitcoin and
their coin, and that they cannot be harmed by that confusion. However,
we do not agree with the use of the Electrum name in the context of a
Bitcoin fork, because it suggests that we endorse that fork, and that
we also endorse that wallet.

We reserve ourselves the right to use the name Electrum for a Bitcoin
Cash wallet, should we decide to publish one in the future."

Send any funds from your old BTC wallet during fork to a new one before sweeping any private keys and never ever send BTC to the old wallet again.

Got it.

So I can sweep my paper wallet with Blockchain.info first, transfer that to a new paper wallet, then sweep my first paper wallet with Electron Cash and move that to an exchange.

Good?

Yes. At worst Electron Cash will steal your BCC but your BTC would be safe.

Hmm. Ok... Electron Cash really looked pretty secure though..but I'm still cautious.

Until an exchange gives me a place to sell it anyway, I won't put it in yet. Viabtc isn't working for me at all for some reason and Bittrex still hasn't opened up its BCC wallets.
