I have a degree in Finance but the work is kind of boring and not very challenging. At my job people with serious math skills are treated like geniuses and make a lot more money.
What certifications can I get that will significantly enhance my math skills besides the CFA?
I would prefer to stay away from college for debt reasons. I'm also pretty proficient in Java and other programming languages.

Kek that's not how this works. If it was possible no one would go to college. All those alphabrainers are smarter because they are better educated.

Quants obviously. The keyword was "treated" like geniuses. We understand the difference but most people assume you're intelligent if you specialize in anything related to mathematics. Especially at higher levels.
Some of the biggest fuck ups I've worked with specialized in math though....but they made way more than me.
