how many bitbeans should I get for staking? I have about 11k right now.
the returns are like 40% a year but theres basically no cap on it so you are guaranteed to lose money by staking it
>>2909137
i have 35k beans. ran the wallet for 2 weeks and got nothing
>>2909532
how do you lose money?
>>2909559
when you say ran the wallet, do you mean just leave your computer running?
>>2910119
yes thats how it works, its called 'proof of stake'
OP, with 100k beans you will sprout roughly once a week. 700k once a day.
I have about 2 million and regularly get 4 sprouts a day
>>2909532
there is a maximum bean cap but it wont be hit for many decades
the sprout difficulty does increase as time goes on though. pic related, got it from the official bitbean team chat
>>2910119
Left the wallet open on my pc. Pc is always on and connected
>>2910231
>measuring anything about a coin like bitbean over a time scale > 5 years
lmao, if this shit is still around in 3 years and not completely dead I will be shocked
>>2910429
With the way the economy is going you will probably have already jumped off a bridge by then.
>>2910429
>dogecoin is literally dead
>still one of the highest volume coins because muh laundering
>>2910526
its value only decreases over the long term, though
you have to gamble to make any money on dogecoin in its current state
>>2910549
fair enough, but i think the price rose high enough to warrant gambling on a new meme
Reposting here since I didn't get an answer elsewhere
Serious question, what is your setup for sprouting beans?
What cheap alternative is there for running the bean wallet open everyday for all months.
I don't want to use my main home computer and have it running 24-7, I was thinking of building a cheap pc and leave the bugger on.
Incase I do this, How do you back up your beans incase your hdd dies out?
Not too savy on the topic, but how could I use my office pc so that when I'm at home, I stake with my home computer, and when I'm at work I use my office pc?
Do I just use install the wallet, sync the block chain put in my passphrase and thats it, then head back home, put my passphrase on my windows wallet ?

Im ordering a raspberry to try and run the wallet on that. Not sure if it will work though.

If they had a command line linux wallet, then there would be no problem in paying for a 5$ digital ocean account and staking it there.
