Any decent wallets that will support Bitcoin cash?
Planning on getting btc in order to get the fork coin.
Anyone who believes these posts should have their head examined.

you can just use electrum for now. they will very likely support Bitcoin Cash/Bitcoin Classic in the future, but even if they won't, they store your private keys on your computer so you'll be able to import then in compatible wallets for sure

but most exchanges take up to 12hrs to withdraw BTC (keep their coins in cold wallets) and will likely experience a huge rush prior to aug1 when most people will try taking their coins into offline wallets
so i'd make the withdrawals ASAP if i were you

Where can I find my private keys on electrum?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1079195.0
>click Wallet -> Private Keys -> Export -> "enter password" -> OK -> "read warning" -> OK -> save
>It will create an unencrypted(!) .csv file with all private keys and corresponding addresses.

do I need a multi-sig wallet to hold BCC or is the standard wallet fine?
>>2897383
standard is def. fine, i don't know how electrum handles multisig
>>2897383
if you want to go the 'safest' route:
make new wallet in electrum.
export private keys.
use an address directly belonging to a private key
now whatever happens you know your private key
make sure noone else sees it tho

Can someone explain what's going on with BCC being created?
Why will holders be give the same amount of BCC as their BTC?

if you send it to the kraken exchange you will get rewarded with BCC for however much BTC you have stored. They released a statement today
