Pretty sure I just lost 30 000 dogecoins a few minutes ago.

So I just started my old dusty computer and decided to send 30k dogecoins from my dogehouse wallet to an exodus wallet on my new computer. However I am not receiving them.

These are the steps I took:

What *I* do is that I haven't touched margin since May because it's been way too choppy and just meandering along sideways for the most part.

Before, I would just try and read the charts and identify relative bottoms using stochrsi, wait for a reset on longer timeframes (12hr or 6hr), and then start scaling into a long. If price continues to drop I'll generally cut losses unless I have strong conviction. I would also occasionally trade shorter-term based purely on pride action. When price would begin to fall off a cliff I'd quickly short and ride the momentum down and cover at levels I felt were appropriate, and even try to swing trade sometimes and flip long for the reversal. There are a myriad of ways to trade and not any one way is the "correct" one. It was easier for me in December because I was fairly sure it was going to rally, so I just held a long position for most of the month. I generally kept my positions well-margined to ensure I could wait out price fluctuations and not get margin called, but this also reduces your return since more of your capital is tied up in a position it doesn't need to be in.

There's a lot you need to familiarize yourself with before anything else thoigh, so if margin trading is appealing to you you should definitely take the time to learn how it all works to avoid taking outsized losses. Margin is a dangerous game.

Not that bad DESU, I know where my losses are and it's because my longterm holds are down quite a bit. Right now I'm just holding until I break even again and then I'm going to cash shit back into USDT and rearrange my funds.

I'm happy that I didn't pour my life savings in for quick gains and lose it all like half the idiots on this board. My plan for rearranging is to put 60% in BTC, swing trade that to accumulate. Put 30% in long term alt coin holds like XMR and LTC and then use the remaining money for shitcoins.

$750 in ETH and BTC in early spring, at around $2.3K down from a near $4.2K I was planning to sell at $475/ETH but apparently this season's ceiling was 400 not 500. I've at least made around $500 speculating on ETH dips and peaks. I think I also should get credit for investing a decent sum of money for my father when btc dropped to $230....he made enough to buy a new car and gave me his old one

To clarify, the exchange was all but guaranteed bust at that point, and I decided I'd rather have imaginary btc than imaginary USD

Started with 500EUR at the end of the goldrush in May, was at around 900EUR for some time.
Then in the first 2 major crashes I lost a lot due to being inexperienced, sat around 250EUR
But riding the crashes with margin shorts I managed to come back to 0.25BTC from 0.1BTC 2 weeks ago, if I had known what I know now during the first crashes I'd be fucking rich desu
