>tfw I spend 100$/month on books
>mostly pop sci, philosophy and some classics
>barely 5% of them are about economics and investing
Not to mention I'm poor and 100$ is a big portion of my income.

Damn, WTF is wrong with you?
Ever heard about that thing called library?
I agree that you simply HAVE to own a few books, ranging from some textbooks you always need, to some trivia you can read and read again to the occasional coffee table book to make your flat look nice, but $100 a month?
nope.
glad to hear so anon
Now to nurture a garden :)

Don't worry OP. There are worse ways to spend money. Do consider buying a kindle and just pirate all the books though if you are not too much of a moralfag.
Why library? It's called a kindle and pirating. Spent thousands of hours on mine over the years.

T. brainlet. Dont think I'm spending my money on Harry Potter.
OP, I feel you, I'm earning like 200 bucks a month, got mussed myself a Kindle couple years ago. Pirate books and you're set for life, the battery is amazing, lasts about a month or so.
