There might some ETFs you could buy which track the crypto market. But desu, if you hold btc, you're pretty much holding all of crypto - for now.

It's likely a question of "not being done yet" more than anything, but there's secondary concerns:
- manipulation. Market cap manipulation can be solved by filtering out low volume coins. Bot volume manipulation... That's harder to filter.
- usefulness. Index funds work in the stock market because you can't buy part of a stock. The value proposition is lowered in crypto, you're essentially selling convenience.
I'm rolling out my own version of an index coin, but I'm making it as something local for boomers to invest (I'm not American, and we're notoriously english-illiterate and conservative, so there is a premium for delivering international innovations to the public here).
