Insurance, housing and food is all paid for. The beginning sucks but eventually you will get to a place where it's the same thing everyday. I won't reenlist.

Yeah those are some good sounding benefits. Although I'm not sure I'd I would want to sign years of my life away when I could potentially end up despising it. I did insanely well on the ASVAB when I took it for fun and recruiters would never leave me alone. What branch are you serving?

I'm in the USMC. With a four year contract, there's no way of getting out of it, unless you end up in the mental hospital or break something beyond repair. If the military interests you, you should definitely look into it. Over the years, there has been marines who go insane due to the environment and situations that occur. Weigh all the costs.
