Also, you should buy some clothes similar in style and material, but on the cheaper end of the spectrum. See if they suit YOU as a person. If you like the clothes, then spring for the higher end brands.

I think you're mistaking the tree for the forest. Why do you want to spend money on something that a) doesn't create wealth and b) doesn't improve your skill set in any way?

How hard will you have to work? Find what clothes you want, then the total price is how much you're aiming for.
