whats the best place to buy/sell light coins? i just started with some money in light coins, got in at $40. if i wanted to make at least a trade a week to gain a little bit of spending cash here and there, 3 bucks everytime will add up quickly on Coinbase. What is everyone using? and do i need a desktop wallet type thing or can i just keep them on a site like coinbase?

Bittrex. 0.25% commission on trades. That's like 10 cents for each 40$ you trade. Given the volatility in crypto, that's not a whole lot.

I've never had issues, and it's one of the bigger exchanges (next to kraken and poloniex). I don't see why not. If you don't trust it, don't store all of your shit there, and just deposit whatever you want to trade with.
