>TFW the stock meme has been paying off better for me than the cryptomeme, at least I'm up money and also invested nearly no time into researching
Starting to realize that the nocoiners were right. I would have been better off if I had just invested my time into working hard and dumped it into ETFs.
hello?

2000% return in 6 months of crypto for me and still making money shorting this shitshow to the ground

I invest 30% of my base salary into 401k and employee stock purchase program. Works out to be about 35k/year after matching/etc. IRS max and all.
Smart money takes high returns and tax advantages and anyone who doesn't and hopes for moon missions to lamboland without hedging is a fucking idiot.
That said, I've got 7k in rigs (about 550 MH/S) in my garage hashing away and that's not gonna get any smaller. I can write off the cost of the capital equipment and the cost of the electricity against the value of the "property" created by the mining rigs. Even mining at a loss makes sense for me financially because I've got so fucking much taxable income to write down.

This. Never forget this. If you're under 30 and do not have kids, take some fucking risk. You have more than enough time to make up for it. But don't go full retard, max your 401k, ESPP, and Roth before risk taking.

TFW horrifically risk averse
