the thing is you already have taken the loss, the question is what will happen next.

1.if the price will continue to go down, then selling is the right option and buying back in at a lower price.

2.if the price will rebound, then holding is the right choice since you would buy in at a higher price.

Statistics shows that long term trends tend to stick, so this is why the disposition effect is a thing. If you hold losing stocks in the stock market you're retarded. Crypto is so volatile though that you're actually just as likely to lose by selling than you are by holding.
