First you need to configure magacoin.conf

1. Create a text file called %APPDATA%\Magacoin\magacoin.conf

open wallet and let it sync, get your maga wallet code
then go into the drive your OS is on so probably C > users > (your name) > APPDATA > roaming > magacoin
in this folder right click on a blank space and select create new text document

you will want to save that text file as magacoin.conf and make sure you do save as and have it selected as all files instead of the default .txt

once you have the .conf file made go into your miner folder, the one that should only have 2 visible files

you're gonna create another text file but this time you're gonna copy paste this into it

basically what a pool does is allows you to get shares based on your contribution regarding your hashrate, which appears to be 24k hashes/s if you closed your background stuff

things are different when solo mining as it's dependent on finding blocks yourself which has a luck factor involved as far as i'm aware so. in a pool when a block is found you're basically paid for the amount of shares contributed to finding said block.
generally it's better to solo mine i think? in this case anyway as the difficulty is really easy currently. people mine ethereum in a pool for example because doing it solo with a typical mining rig would take many many months just to receive one payment.
