Why is ethereum crashing?
I was expecting everyone to get under ETH umbrella while weathering the SegWit.

Well, maybe not everyone but the majority.
>Put 20, 30 percent on LTC as failsafe, assume everyone else will do the same and gain short term from ETH, after SegWit return to your original portfolio.
Just explain to me why did ETH lose half of its value.

Impossible to know. It has entered to my collection at 2012, vintage as fuck as you can see.

Well, can't we track it down though? I'm no expert but theoretically the sell volume of ETH must correspond to a buy volume of X coin, or fiat. By normalizing through matching the aforementioned volumes' fiat correspondence to its value on the day of transaction, the trail should be recognizable.

- there has been a massive rise, now there is correction
- Eth is way less known than bitcoin, most normies and likely big investors know Bitcoin and that's it. Eth bubble.is like BTC's 2013
- segshit or not, BTC is clearly the most conservative, mature, secure, well tested coin. It's where people go to in the storm
- also, 95% of BTC community is behind segwit2x. Bitcoin finally has a path forwards. Just a few inconsequential drama queens dragging their heels, but they will be ignored and can fork off if they like

Proofs?

Yeah, if 5% forks off, it will became a shitcoin, that is obvious.

Really, faggot?

Crpto corrections for big 3 was always softer though. Wasn't it? I'm not entirely sure now.

I don't know how you guys look at the charts, but it's pretty clear to me that the crash is over. I think other people will figure it out today too.

There's no doubt that some people pulled out into fiat to "wait out the storm" and are looking to get back in when the recovery begins.

We hit the bottom 3 days ago (the 11th). The low point on the 1D candle has been increasing for 4 days in a row now. That's something we haven't seen since June 27th.

Also note that we had a rise of 17.5% on the daily candle of the 12th, so yesterday was bound to pull back.

When today's daily candle flips green we may see an unprecedented wave of FOMO.

ICOs are slowly dumping their money, still. You'd have to be nuts to think that ether is safer than Bitcoin. I think people will either change to LTC or fiat to prepare for Aug 1st. So expect everything to crash as we South that date. Lots of opportunities to make money there!
>>
>>2780548
you holding any alts besides eth?
>>
>>2780796
>ICOs are slowly dumping their money, still
Now that is an argument. I can rationalize it now. And this dumping probably caused panic along with bear market prophecies, then ETH plummeted.
>Lots of opportunities to make money there!
I want to buy BNT bags desu, but given that its value is pinned to ETH I can't go balls in.
>LTC
Shitcoin

As far as I read, they need >95%, right?
>>

Wrong. that may be 90% of mining pools. But only 45% of all miners are actually signaling segwit.
