Here's what's happening.

Coinbase knows that API bots are buying when it goes to around $187 levels, so it's flash crashing it there so API bots suddenly buy a ton of it, despite that not being the actual price.

unload billions of fake ETH on the public normies

crash the market to nothing, same as the stock market

it's a great time to buy friendo paradigm shift and stuff :)

At least they aren't shutting the site down like that often do during severe dips.
