Big blockers are a binary state, they are either:

1) Stupid
2) State sponsored to turn bitcoin into paypa 2.0 by having massive blocks centralized inside corporations

We don't need big blocks first of all because we don't need to. The network gets spammed from time to time by state-sponsored actors in order to push the big block agenda, but the reality is, not enough people are using bitcoin to justify the risk of a hardfork right now. Don't fall for the propaganda.
