After doing your research on it, it's primary competitors, deciding it's a good long term investment over its competitors, and thinking that the market isn't over-valued. You're never going to get in at "the sweet spot". Don't try. The sweet spot was a year ago. You're always going to have "IF ONLY I BOUGHT IN AT X TIME". Don't worry about that. Only worry about "Is this going to be a worthwhile use of my investing dollar?" and act on that.
