really, try your luck with shitcoins with some nominal value for the first week.
if losing 1 BTC really wouldn't cause any regret go for it, but it's very much possible to lose well over half of it in a single night.

i'd go with 0.1BTC at most. if i have more than my initial investment after shitcoining for 2 weeks, stake more. if not, stake with less until i'm profitable / get bored of shitcoining

also note that once you start transferring shitcoins between each other it becomes very had to keep exact books of exactly how much you gained on which trade
so just keep books of your overall balance (bitrex doesn't keep any history of that for you, so you must record that manually)
