you could probably not cause as much excitement in bitcoin/eth doing that, but be careful with alts, definitely break it down into chunks and buy dips, some people might recognize signs of accumulation, but that's about it.

Given the number of bots running on the exchanges I doubt that it's possible to move significant volume without being noticed.
