My girlfriend is about to inherit a house on some land in Nicaragua. We want to turn it into some kind of revenue stream since selling it would be pretty pointless. It is just outside of the city. How do we go about this? What are the laws? Can we set up a tourism bed/breakfast? Would it be better to invest in some sort of land use?
What do you think?
Sounds bad. Look at New York City. Rent is CRAZY and the Companies will still wait 7 Years to get the "Right Resident"...
Must be a reason they would keep their Buildings unoccupied for so very long.
Either it is so Profitable who cares or extremely dangerous to have Random People.

If you're both foreigners you'll have to keep an eye on if there special taxes just for you. I'm not from Nicaragua so I can't really tell you, but you should ask a lawyer (just asking probably would be free)... maybe by email lol. I'll write you down something in spanish so you can ask (letter format):
Estimado,
Atentamente,
Anon.
well, are you situated in nicaragua, or would you be able to move there?
There isn't lots you can do safely, anything more than a storage-house would require someone to look after it.
