Anyone else here is making money with crypto trading but doesn't actually understand it? I just look at the numbers, I couldn't properly explain cryptocurrency even if someone paid me to do it.

90% of biz
>making money
Don't qualify for that part
i'm like that but i'm losing money instead. i don't know how to predict the dip and i'm not going to buy at ask price.
What the normies (like me) do
> get enthusiastic about cryptos and the potential profits
> you either smart or /biz/ish - buy high sell low or vice versa
> thinking the market lasts cos that's what I as a normie want
> power in numbers, no bubbles but good profits

Normally chains are made of metal but these chains are made of blocks, like Minecraft. Kids can't get enough.
anybody who actually understands it wouldn't invest a dime in crypto
I buy based on information I get on /biz/, twitter etc. and sell quite early with 30% - 50% profit as soon as the graph stagnates or big red candles appear. Doing quite good so far. The last bigger gains were with ANS and LTC.
The way I understand it is
>transaction is made
>that transaction is added to the block chain
>miners donate their computing power as a way to process those transactions/basically act as accountants in exchange for portions of a coin once each block is processed
>breaking up the coins in the block chain keeps the market stable and prevents inflation
>market cap is a fixed number of full coins released at one time (just like how a bank prints money, except not centralized, so no one can just make "more coins" out of the blue in order to drive the currency down

no I'm not a moron and have been on bitcointalk since 2012, I remember PPC being released and the arguments over PoS that we are still rehashing to this day
