Quit grinding for cash because the scene is shit now and the time-effort-reward ratios just aren't worth it anymore. Until Muricans can play on the big sites and poker gets popular with bros and middle aged men again, it'll be hard to make big money unless you're in the top 1% of players in terms of skill. I still play as a hobby though because I honestly love the game.

Live poker is still profitable supposedly, but I've never tried.

Offcourse it's possible. There are plenty of soft online poker rooms still with a lot of bad players. With solid fundamentals, you can crush these noobs with yours eyes closed.
