Remember when *insert hobby here* was done as just that, a hobby and people didn't expect to make any money from said hobby? If a few dollars were chucked their way great, but it was never asked for nor demanded.
Seems most podcasts Or YouTube content is plastered with GIVE ME MONEY ON PATREON usually followed up with subtle or else's.

Seems like this decade has been full of ways of making easy loads of cash, mostly because this is the generation of the couch potato.
