I've finished testing a HUGE code fix that implements LMDB and graphical wallet in AEON... but the one and only dev won't answer me. What do?

Do I fork the AEON blockchain and attempt a hostile 51% takeover or do I just suck it up and release a new coin/chain with better tech?
