I'm not a biz noob but it kind of is like a second redpill to realise that finance is how 90 % of people get rich. I'm a loser for not being in finance. Only the smartest and stupidest of people are not in finance (or software, but you need to pick your company well).

And it really is all pointless. Who needs more liquidity ffs?

I guess finance helps companies grow but watching news about companies is depressing. If a companh isn't growing like a tumour it is treated as cancer. Oops, not enough growth? Import more people, use the central bank to prop up the stock market (like BoE after Brexit), more exponential debt.
