What does IOTA offer over Byteball?
Will IOTA get on other exchanges anytime soon?
Shill me your bags, anons.

IOTA's main difference is it's 'blockless' design, using something called 'tangle'.
Effectively making it a zero-transaction fee exchange mechanism.
For the first time, you can literally send 0.0000001 cent to a recipient, and they receive all 0.0000001 cent.
Potential to make huge breakthroughs in automated micro transactions between participants in various fields.
Main one of course being the "internet of things".
Although it appears relatively new, it's actually been traded OTC for a while now, and is a fairly mature ecosystem
>>2590959
Yeah, but the devices will have to PoW two other transactions, right? What's with embedded sensors that don't have the power to do so?
I guess they could pay someone to do the computing for them , kek
>>2590959
IOTA really shouldn't be treated like a traditional cryptocurrency because it doesn't actually use a traditional block chain but rather uses a tangle system. Also what's the point of having these coins, isn't it technically just zero transaction exchange software?
>>2590993
>isn't it technically just zero transaction exchange software?
"just"?
That's basically what crypto is, plus fees
>>2590980
Yea that's my understanding.
Not actually sure how it's going to be implemented but afaik along the lines of the market participants are all doing the validations, making it decentralised
>>2590993
Yeah, not having a blockchain is certainly an interesting aspect.
To be honest, it's lack of dedicated shills and how relatively unheard of it is is largely what's driving me to be bullish on it
