my fucking raspberry pi has been syncing for over 10 days cunt and it's only 1/3 of the way through

My biggest problem seems to be hard disk speed with the Linux client. New WD 1TB drive and it takes a week, on Windows, 2 days. Another PC with a basic SSD and it was done in 6 hours.
