It means there's no demand for eth even at substantially cheaper prices. Lack of confidence in ETH. It's the precursor for a bubble.

I don't think shorting it would be smart. This shit is going to come back, big. The fact that more people aren't buying in at these prices is silly. It's like neglecting to buy into BTC when is dropped to $400 or so from over a grand because "it will never recover!" It's up to you though.
