Because all shitcoins are traded against the bitcoin, dumbass. All other things being equal, if BTC rises, without a corresponding rise in the inherent value of the shitcoin itself, it's value VERSUS the bitcoin should drop, as the bitcoin is now worth more.

What he meant is self evident because he said it in obvious terms. Alt coins are traded against value of bitcoin, which has inflation/deflation much more rapid than most fiat currencies. There's nothing to explain. I mentioned XRP because it provides a different service. You can see what I said beforehand.
