New to crypto....
Is coinbase the only exchange that allows one to fund their account via USD?
I've checked out Poloniex, Bitfinex, Kraken but none of them allow one to easily deposit USD into the account and buy the coin of their choice. How the fuck does one do this? Why do these exchanges exist if they don't even accept my money?

i think Gemini is like coinbase
Just buy XRP anon
What about gdax? I think they are the exchange while coinbase is the user friendly front?

GDAX/COINBASE have too many issues.
I'm trying to create a Gemini account but apparently it thinks my cell-number isn't SMS-compliant are whatever, but I guess SMS messages all the time.

ahhh ok. Didn't realize that gdax would run into the same shit issues as CB. I actually only ran into my first error today which slowed me down from buying ANS. Delayed Eth withdrawal

There are literally hundreds of other Fiat exchanges than coinbase. Localbitcoins is cheap.
The reason why polo, bittrex, etc. don't accept fiat is because they would fall under a different law / category and would require full ID verification amongst other annoyances
