What is /biz/'s opinion on segwit2x?
>MASF segwit

I see it as a decent compromise that will hopefully prevent the Aug. 1st shit show. I'm not against BIP 148 since it actually got us to this point but it did its job and now its time to agree on something safer.
Ultimately it will allow second-layer scaling and actual block sizes of around 3.5MB.

It's a good compromise.
Just bloody get Segwit going then we can have Lightning and BTC can keep its rightful crown as king of crypto.

I don't like ver or wu, but the only solution I see that isn't kicking the can down the road would be dynamic block sizes.
Unlimited couldn't code a soda machine, but it can't be that hard to get that going properly.
i just hope i will not lose my coins
i have them in multibit wallet and did not touch them for years
When is it dropping?
>>2512333
It's why I'm buying the inevitable dip, waiting for the next peak and dumping all krypto. Except for my beloved bitbeans of course. (Don't believe the shills who post about those false sell walls here)

>something happens and everyone loses their BTC
>BTC fags start autistically screeching and trying to crash the markets but realize they can't because all their wealth was in BTC and they aren't whales anymore
FUCKING LOL

>something happens and everyone loses their BTC
I wouldn't bet on this.
>>2512635
sounds fun but wont happen.
i guess there will be a slight dip from weak hands and after successful implementation a quick rise.
i dont care, will all work out
Too many buzzwords
This segwit2x is what will hard fork the btc in 2 coins?
>>2512704
no. miners were threatening to respond to UASF bip148 with a hard fork. Segwit2x is something that will supposedly make everyone happy, so no fork.
core will find a way to sabotage this, claiming muh centralization or something
>>2512734
>everyone happy
i'm almost never happy though
>>2512734
Nice, time to liquidate all shitcoins and put everything back in BTC
