Why is /biz/ completely mum on this?

OP's post pretty much covers it.
>>2503227
there's been a thread almost everyday asking about it
you're just a dumbass
so, for anyone wondering, ask yourself this
What does bitcoin NEED to scale?
BU (Jihan): Bigger blocks. Unlimited block size. We don't need to pay higher fees to push our tx through the blockchain if the blocks aren't full.
Makes bitcoin faster. Lowers fees.
Segwit (Core): Bigger blocks. BUT only up to 4mb. that's 4x from here. HOWEVER, tx will be moved off chain, so it won't even matter that the blocks are full. Comes with lightning network and other shit. Makes bitcoin faaaaaast. Lowers fees.
Motives behind each party: Segwit - they get the tx fees now that it's moved off blockchain. BU- Miners keep the tx fees as it is now, on the blockchain and they get paid.
Which solution is the correct solution? Which solution do you like better?
Note: satoshi foresaw the use for 2nd layer solutions like segwit in the future. However, he also didn't think 1mb blocks would fill this quickly.
hard decision to make, but there's a lot of hype around segwit. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Ignore that shit and store it in a different cryptocurrency that doesn't have a major decision that has split the community going on (Litecoin seems to be the prevailing alternative at the moment)
And this is why BTC will die. Those faggots can even come to a simple agreement.
Meanwhile ETH, XEM, RIPPLE, LTC are 100% behind their devs and are raking up the market cap.
By the end of 2017 BTC will be the new POSW ;^)

I think LTC is promising , the only problem that if this BTC thing is resolved, it will moon and leave LTC pretty much useless.
seems there is no solid choice to make, everything is a gamble

This.
That's why diversifying is the safest bet right now.
That or comfy fiat
