This is called indexing and it's a great way to capture total crypto market returns. People do it in the stock market as well, this is what the S&P500 is for instance. An index
Except you need to weight them by market cap. Don't just put $1,000 into each, take your $15k investment and put more into the top market cap coin, less into the lower market cap coins.
Not necessarily a 1:1 ratio of the coin's market cap to its investment percentage, you can apply a less steep slope to give more weighting to lower market cap coins. But this is the gist and it's the best way.
