This might not be a /biz/ question, but it's financially related so why not.
Where do I find really cheap plane tickets? Say, if I wanted to cash out a little crypto and go somewhere new. Preferably for under $700 roundtrip from the western US.
Please respond
Does Skyscanner work in the US? That's what I use

/trv/ here.
Get good at searching skyscanner and if the flights are too expensive do self connections or even look into fuel dumps. As far as an engine to search flights though, you won't beat skyscanner.

how about standby flights?
is that a thing still?

thanks too. Been spending the last 2 days trying to book a one way flight out of Japan to the US, but alleged Japanese taxes and fees had prices up about $300 from NRT. Skyscanner found me a set of tickets for about $200 cheaper than any of the viable alternatives that avoided the hefty nip fees (no checked bags but I won't have any).
