it's literally unprovable whether you own cryptocurrency or not. even if they somehow magically go back in time and take all transactions from every bitcoin exchange ever (and ignore localbitcoins and the like), and found that you have bought cryptos at some point in time, you can just create a new address on a device that has never touched the internet, transfer coins to it, and say you have already gave them away.
