Lets have a slightly different Blockfolio thread.
Post your blockfolios but also explain each coin in your folio and why you are invested in it.
BTC: The OG, the denominator, market mover, etc. Probably the only coin other than ETH that is a "must have" unless you are making crazy plays.
ETH: My hedge against Bitcoin's scaling issues. Don't like how centralized it is, but if the flippening occurs it's a train I don't intend on missing. If Bitcoin flops this will easily take over. Also, DApps and smart contracts are revolutionary blockchain technology.
GNT: A decentralized AWS? Say no more. Unlike GridCoin, it is usable by average consumers for computations and once brass golem hits I think it's gonna fly. Other competitors like SONM are nowhere near as close to getting off the ground.
ARK: DPoS system is very interesting. If it gets widely adopted the ~10% Yearly ROI beats stocks (at the tradeoff of more risk), and the delegate system is interesting enough before we get to the blockchain bridging technology.
POT: Dude Dennis Rodman lmao. Short term play, purely for profit. Shitcoin.

ETC - Bought the ICO because I missed out on BTC. Solid coin, smart contracts, etc.
BTC - First coin. Bought in the 200 USD range. Best store of value coin. Most widely accepted as payment.
ETC - Came along with my ETH for free. Not that interested in it, but will hold until I cash out.
LISK - Bought the ICO. Smart contacting, JavaScript programing, reasonably bullish on this one.
STR - Ripple clone that hasn't run up yet. Non-profit organization, focused on 'unbanked', settlement properties. I'm bullish over time.
LTC - Not listed but I'm bullish and accumulating. Have under $500 worth at the moment, want 100 coins min.
GNT/XRP - For in early with small amounts and have grown nicely. Haven't sold yet, but not accumulating.

ETH: Because I figure it can only go up, even though I bought very late (1 at 260, and .5 at 350)
LTC: Sure to go up as well, I'm hoping I can turn a 3x 5x profit on it by years end.
RDD: The only legitimate alt coin I can think of that may moon, with 27,000 shares, I'm hoping I can make $70 become $5000. I know it's a pipe dream, and I'll be honest. I have no idea how people calculate total volume or maximum price increase. I've seen a lot of people quote various maths stating that x coin can't moon because it will require it making more than the entire US government, or whatever.
But it's fucking like no Sat, so it has nowhere to go but up. Also Redd ID, or whatever will be coming out, which sounded cool.
BITB: Because memes, and I was stoned one night and liked the logo.
XRP: Because I remember reading about Ripple along ETH about a year ago, and It is being bid on by banks? Maybe? Who knows.
DGB: Because I saw the word moon. Fun fact, it was my first BC exchange ever, and it was at almost 2000 SAT. So I'm just gunna hold this bag, I guess. I mean, I'm sure it could go down, but I'd rather lose $70 total, than lose $35, if the risk means I could break even / get more.
I had some Bat, but I sold that quick because paper thin hands. That was my second BC exchange. It was at 7000 SAT. Looking at todays value, I guess I fucked up.
I also bought THC out of novelty, and sold that for a net loss too. Bought it for 400 SAT, sold at 350.
If it's any consolation, I put it into RDD.
I don't own any BC because I feel like the gain on what I can afford will be minimal compared to the gains from more alts.
I don't know shit about this. I'm a normie. but I can afford to lose about $1000, I've put in $900, so I'm green.
My goal is to break even, and invest. My exit strat is 80% loss on any given token, or total portfolios worth. Pull out after 40k profit, leave 20%. I gross 60k/yr, 28, got student loans / cc debt.
