Today I bought some BAT. I think it can't fall more. Being related to Brave makes it pretty interesting.

What are your thoughts? Should we expect benefits soon?
>>
>>2434316
it's still like 6x above ico you know that right?
>>
>>2434339
A lot more coins are x100+ from their ico price
>>
>>2434339
What does this mean? Seriously, I am a newfag.
>>
>>2434316
one of the few coins that will last through the purge which is the alt-crypto bubble popping. I have about 20% of my portfolio in it right now as a long term hold.

>>2434454
you're investing real money... please FOR YOUR OWN SAKE... look up what ICOs are. Look up what angel investment is. Look up what IPOs are. ICO =/= IPO. ICO approximately = Angel Investment which is inherently very risky.
>>
Where can I buy this?
I heard that only five people bought almost the whole ICO. One person spent something like 4 million dollars alone.

That's fucking terrible for the market. Prices will be incredibly manipulated.
>>
>>2434564
>will be
Try "are". This has been listed for weeks.
>>
>>2434316
This is my first and so far only coin. I got didn't know about it until after the ico but I bought it after doing some research on it and a few other coins.

I went with BAT over everything else because of the big names in the dev team (including the creator of javascript and co-founder of Mozilla, Brendan Eich ) and the fact that the devs have a solid plan of what BAT will do in addition to an actual product that exists.

Long term that certainly seems a lot more potential compared to some meme coin that does nothing.

I'm almost certain it will go up at least initially whenever BAT gets implemented into the Brave browser. They'll need to get advertisers on board but I'm sure the dev team has connections considering who they are.

Also I doubt Brendan Eich would risk his reputation on this if he didn't think it had a high chance of being at least somewhat successful.

Another useless shitcoin in which devs take BTC from gamblers.

Lol
Have you even used the browser? Not only is it for computers but its also a mobile browser for your tablet and phone... The market is literally billions of people

i don't see why people think people are so reticent to "switch browsers" when you can import browser data into Brave. even without that, its not a huge deal. i am using it and i like it. i chose "show brave ads" but the wallet isnt out yet so no BAT getting earned yet.

i bought 20 bat just to fuck around. i dont know the potential negative implications but i just watched a TED talks with the founder of Brave, creator of javascript. he was a nervous fat little autist. he showed this infograph about advertising exchanges and all this shit. ads are wack. i would totally tip the guys i subscribe to today. like h3h3 i would microtip the shit outta that dude
>>
Can someone please give me a quick greentext on BAT and why I should be interested in it?

lmfao kill yourself
>>
>>2434564
The distribution has grown rapidly since it hit exchanges. Two top addresses are the devs, which people will try and deceive you into thinking are private holders.
>>
>>2435502
how was the Bitcoin ICO back then? How much was the initial price?

Glad I bought in on" the great dip" we will see, the idea is there, the team is legit, time will tell
>>
Lesson learnt, never buy an ICO when it hits an exchange. I bet the same thing will happen with Bancor with similar hype to BAT during the ICO.
>>
>>2434316
their lead just released an updated roadmap on twitter, i think we're all going to be ok :D
>>
>>2434316
BAT HYPE!
>>
I realise it's all speculative but an educated price predictions would be great. Anyone?
>>

>Being related to Brave makes it pretty interesting
Brave is utter shit OP. By far a fucking abortion of a browser. Made by people with really shit and ancient ideas. BAT is actually their plan B. Right now they probably went on a long long 20 day weekend fueled by whores and cocaine but never forget they tried to charge you to use a browser that nobody asked for, then they tried to twist it to act as a middle man between users and website with advertising and now BAT (which isn't that bad idea) to accomplish that while owning a huge chunk of the coins.
Don't forget the terms of the ICO were changed just before it launched and because of the price of ETH the numbers were fucked up to say the least.
Unless you got in at launch, just buy it as low as you can and dump it when you double your money.
>>
>>2437639
I've been using Brave since launch. It's just as fast as chrome, no big-brother google tracking, and has built in adblocking. I'm seriously wondering why anyone would dislike it aside from shilling.
>>
I bought a bunch yesterday. It hit its bottom.

>>
>>2437692
Well, I'm curious too.

Before Brave I had Firefox with uOrigin, Cookie Badger and Https everywhere extensions. It was awesome but it could get slow sometimes.

Brave does all that but always fast.

If there's something wrong with it I really would like to know, cause it feels great.
>>
>>2435120
ever tried to load 4chan in the mobile browser?
>>
>>2438228
Yeah, I think it has issues with the full page ads that 4chan runs, not so much Brave itself.

Those ads are fucking weird, I once was streaming something from my phone to my tv, then switched to my browser with 4chan pulled up and it played the ad on my TV. (iPhone, Apple TV)

The 4chan ads also pause any music playing on my phone when they pull up regardless of browser.
>>
>>2438228
That's exactly what I'm doing right now
>>
I like Brave. It's still Beta, really. Kinks galore, but overall it works very well. And BAT is a good concept with 1000 buyout or pivot options if the original idea gets squelched.

1. Internet wasn't designed well for advertising or collecting data on consumers.
2. Advertisers want a better system than throwing money at facebook or youtube.
3. Consumers want a way to be sold that isn't invasive
4. Both would see value in the consumer getting paid for their attention.
5. Attention is the new hot commodity to advertisers.
>>
Brave browser will get mass adoption because it pays you in appreciating BAT currency to use it.

Who doesn't want to get rich using a browser? It also blocks ads on Android which is a big reason to use it.
>>
>>2438448

Dude... you hit it right there. Earning value for browsing is a fantastic idea.

Lets face it. Robots and AI are going to take over most jobs in the next couple decades. Unless people have some other way to earn value, shit is really going to hit the fan. Projects like Brave might become more commonplace and blockchain tech makes it more realistic. The other idea is that government keeps pumping out fiat and handing it out to the jobless which will naturally diminish it's value and raise up cryptocoin even more.

Fucking win-win for us based anons... I have 100 BAT that I will be hodling to see how things play out. I tried their browser too. Liked it... fucking fantastic on Pornhub btw.
>>
>>2438448
I dont think it will make you rich, per se, unless you get in early.

But there is an interesting question- there are enough companies that want your attention, and enough people-
is it possible, and at what level, to create a value equality where you basically can live a middle class life for free?

Basically the targetted special ad gets you the best choices, along with the right payoff for the attention, since, being targetted, it's more accurate...
>Trying to reach a zero-rate for a 50k a year lifestyle versus 100k and how much support income you'd need.
>making a living browsing/buying

Normally i'd say people wouldn't mass adopt just cause they can make a little bit extra money- then I remmeber that all my local computer stores are sold out of graphics cards, or limiting two per customer, cause of people trying to bitcoin mine, starting in the last few weeks...
>>
>>2438448
I bought at 9500 and idgaf because I know that this project is undervalued as a whole right now... especially compared to other cryptos which are basically just asking you for money for concepts... lmao
>>
>>2438633
> Robots and AI are going to take over most jobs in the next couple decades.

Fuck off to Reddit idiot
>>
>>2437692
>>2438110

so BATmining is not yet integrated?
>>
shhhh dont pump this shit yet, I'm not collecting my gains from other cryptos till tomorrow
>>
>>2439735
Nope
>>
>>2438633
I have 493 BAT right now. Let's become righ together.
>>
>>2440859
660 here. I'm expecting a 4x gain in the near future. Hopefully year end
>>
>>2441509
Wheew. As a poorfag I don't know if that's going to be enough to keep going.
